This trip offers you one of the most outstanding natural scenery along the limestone mountain ranges in northern Vietnam from Mai Chau valley to Pu Luong Nature Reserve to Cuc Phuong National Park and the last cycling section is around the Capital city of Hoa Lu in Ninh Binh. The tour combines the mix of good single track paths and undulating rough jeep trails, the views are stunning as the ride passed through villages and across lush rice paddies. Cycling is the extraordinary way to explore and admire the hidden paths of northern Vietnam. You will also have plenty of opportunities to interact with local people, staying in Muong,Thai stilt-houses, sampling authentic local food, enjoying a Thai live music performances. Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: Hanoi – Mai Chau Valley
Your adventure starts with 2 hours drive southwest of Hanoi to Luong Son, the gateway to the outstanding mountainous area of northern Vietnam. From this point, start riding through on undulating tarmac road with stunning view of mountain, valleys, sugarcane farms and rice paddies with stop en-route for refreshment and lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, short transfer to bottom of Thung Khe pass to ride another 34km along Da Riverbank where you will enjoy spectacular scenery dotted with Muong and Thai people villages under shaded trees. You might meet little school boys and girls smiling and saying “hello” to you on their way home. After a short break, descent to Mai Chau village where you earn a good night in a Thai's stilt-house.

Day 2: From Back Roads of Mai Chau Valley to Pu Luong Nature Reserve
The second day of this cycling adventure offers you the outstanding natural beauty of Mai Chau Valley dotted with Thai and Muong villages surrounded by rice terraces paddies. After an early breakfast, you will start biking on the mix single track paths linking one village to another and you may witness how peaceful these villages are in the morning! And how the local minorities are living here for hundred years. After lunch at a small village of Sam Khoe, your route takes you to Hang Village where you will spend the night.

Day 3: Cycling the Pu Luong Nature Reserve (Hang to Nua village)
Today is a challenging day with long climb on mix of dirt paths and single track trail leading to the top in the morning, where you will be rewarded with break-taking limestone mountain view and magnificent terraces rice paddies, especially during harvest time. You will stop for refreshment at summit before descending to Pho Doan market for lunch.

In the afternoon, enjoy an easy ride on mix tarmac road, buffalo trails, under shade of bamboo forest to  Nua village. Dinner and stay the night in another Thai's stilt-house

Day 4: From Pu Luong Nature Reserve to Cuc Phuong National Park
After breakfast, start early to ride to Pho Doan township of Phu Luong Narture Reserve. If it's Sunday, you can visit and take photo at colorful tribal market before crossing a bridge. Ride at the buffer zone of Nature Reserve, through sugarcane fields, corn farm dotted with Thai and Muong Tribes villages which takes you o Cam Luong, we are rewarded by spectacular scenery, meeting friendly local villagers. Reach to Ho Chi Minh Trail at noon and have lunch at a local restaurant at Kim Tan town.

In the afternoon, continue another 45km on a mix of good single track and undulating paths. The view are stunning as the rider passes through villages and across rice paddies, sugarcane and cassava farms. Arriving in Cuc Phuong National Park in the late afternoon, check in and stay the night at the Park's Guesthouse.

Day 5: Cuc Phuong National Park – Thung Nham – Tram Chim
After breakfast, your support vehicle takes you into the core zone of Cuc Phuong National Park where you will cycle along canopied forest trails and through primitive jungle – an exclusive, tourist – free route, all the way to the gate of National Park. Visit the Endangered Primate Rescued Center.

After a short transfer out of the Park, continue cycling through Dong Giao plantation where you will enjoy fresh pineapple from local farmers selling on side-road. Lunch at Tam Coc. After lunch, cycle through magnificent limestone mountains rising up majestically from the green rice paddies, streams to Tram Chim Nature Reserve. Upon arrival, you will take a break or wander around to encounter different birds here. Dinner and stay overnight at resort.

Day 6: Cycling Limestone Valley – Hoa Lu Ancient Capital – Kenh Ga - Hanoi
Today you start riding back road to Tam Coc where you will enjoy 3 hours sampan ride through 3 grottos. Continue the ride through break-taking natural beauty of Trang An, Bai Dinh Pagoda and Kenh Ga Floating Villages. After a simple lunch at Kenh Ga, transfer by road to Hanoi. End of services.
