Heat, Hills and Hidden Vietnam: Two Back-to-Back Rides You Won’t Forget
We did two self-guided road bike trips back to back:
– 4 days Sapa Loop to Xin Ho mountain Cycling
– 10 days Hanoi to HoiAn
The tour was as advertised. Well organised and both the guide, Anne and driver were helpful and knowledgeable.
We got the opportunity to cycle in remote areas and see local life. Lots of hill climbing, especially in Sapa. May was hot as the area was in an extreme heat event but the support team kept us well supplied with liquids.
The hotel choices were really good. A mix of different styles, with many quite uniquely positioned. Many with pools, which was appreciated given the heat.
We were quite remote a lot of the time, so don’t expect a coffee shop every 2 hours, but when you do find one, they were a great experience.
Highly recommend these tours and this operator, the only thing we would change is to go earlier in the year when it is cooler.

Self Guided Cycle Trip – Hanoi to HCMC
This cycle trip was what we wanted – Our choice to cycle 60 to 100 km per day, stopping when we wanted and mostly away from touristed areas. The scenery was different every day as we travelled south. Mr Huy our driver did a great job keeping the bikes repaired when needed and meeting us for snacks and finding good restaurants for lunch. He also was a safe driver and answered our questions about Vietnam. Although this was a self guided trip, a guide, Anh was provided. She was helpful and fun to cycle with. We highly recommend this trip for a basic self guided cyle trip. Thank you!!!

6 day mtb cycle tour Mai Chau, Moc Chau and pu Luong..
We had a very good experience. Joe customised the trip adding a rest day in Pu Luong.
The cycling routes were quite and beautifull. We felt immersed in the countryside and beautifull nature.
The cycling was tough at certain moments but very rewarding (we chose to use non- electric mountainbikes). We could always count on the support of Hung, providing us drinks and energybars when we needed them. Thanks also for strapping the bikes on the car for the steep climb out of Pu Luong.
Also special thanks to Anne, who rode with us the entire trip, showing us the way and assisting us where needed.
